Ingredients
- 2 1/2 c. brown sugar (1 lb.)
- 1/2 c. confectioners sugar
- 1/2 c. white sugar
- 3 Tbsp. cornstarch
- 3/4 c. milk
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- heaping tsp. butter
- 3/4 c. chopped nuts
Method
- Boil together sugars, cornstarch and milk until it forms a soft-ball in cold water.
- Remove from fire.
- Add vanilla, butter and nuts.
- Beat until thick and creamy.
- Pour into buttered pan (10 1/2 x 7-inches).
