Ingredients

  • 15 oz. can tomato sauce
  • 2 Tbsp. margarine, melted
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 2 c. water
  • 2 chicken bouillon cubes
  • 1/2 bay leaf
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. marjoram
  • 1/4 tsp. sugar
  • 1/8 tsp. garlic powder
  • 1/8 tsp. pepper
  • 1/8 tsp. thyme
  • 2 c. diced, cooked chicken
  • 1/2 c. dry white wine

Method

  • Saute onion in margarine until tender. Add remaining ingredients except chicken and wine.
  • Simmer, uncovered, 30 minutes. Stir in chicken and wine. Simmer, covered, 30 minutes. Serve on hot cooked spaghetti.
  • Makes 4 to 6 servings.
