- 1/2 bunch green onions
- 1/2 lb. pepperoni
- salad oil
- 2 1/2 c. yellow cornmeal
- 2 c. all-purpose flour
- 1/4 c. sugar
- 1 Tbsp. baking powder
- 2 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 4 large eggs
- 2 1/2 c. milk
Method
- Preheat oven to 400°.
- Line a 13 x 9-inch metal baking pan with foil; grease foil.
- Chop green onions and pepperoni.
- In a small skillet over medium-high heat in 1 tablespoon hot salad oil, cook green onions until tender but not browned.
