Ingredients
- 1 large fresh beef brisket
- 1 tsp. onion salt
- 1 tsp. celery salt
- 1 tsp. garlic salt
- 3/4 bottle liquid smoke
Method
- Mix the seasoned salts and rub into all surfaces of the brisket.
- Place brisket in a large piece of heavy-duty aluminum foil.
- Pour liquid smoke over meat and tightly seal foil.
- Place in a 275° oven and bake 7 to 8 hours.
- Can be baked overnight, then refrigerated until almost serving time, then reheated.
- Slice across the grain and trim off fat as you slice.
- Leftovers can be reheated or chopped and served with barbecue sauce as a sandwich.
