Ingredients
- 1 c. flour
- 1 (1/2 c.) stick butter or margarine
- 2 Tbsp. sugar
- confectioners sugar
- 1 c. pecans
- 1 tsp. vanilla
Method
- Heat oven to 300°.
- Process flour and pecans in food processor or until nuts are very finely chopped.
- Beat butter, sugar and vanilla until pale and fluffy.
- Gradually beat in flour mixture just until blended.
- Roll level tablespoons of dough into balls.
- Place 1-inch apart on ungreased cookie sheet.
- Bake for 45 minutes or until browned.
- While warm, roll in powdered sugar. Cool completely.
- Then roll in powdered sugar again.
