- 1 baked pie shell
- 1/3 c. butter
- 1/2 c. dark brown sugar
- 1/2 c. light corn syrup
- 1/4 c. molasses
- 1/4 c. maple syrup
- 3 eggs
- 1/2 c. milk
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1/4 tsp. almond extract
- 2/3 c. chopped pecans
- 2/3 c. pecan halves
Method
- Cream butter with sugar.
- Add liquids and eggs.
- Mix well. Add chopped pecans.
- Pour into baked pie shell.
- Cover with pecan halves carefully laid end to end in circles until entire pie top is covered.
- Bake 40 to 45 minutes in slow oven.
- Cool.
- This is a very rich pie.
- Serve small pieces.
