Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup chopped onion
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 juice of 1/2 lemon (2 tablespoons)
  • 1/2 tsp sugar
  • 1/4 tsp white vinegar
  • 1/2 oz gingerroot (a nickel size slice), peeled and chopped

Method

  • Combine all of the ingredients in a blender and blend on low speed for 30 seconds or until the gingerroot and garlic have been pureed.
  • Chill before serving.
  • *This sauce can be frozen in a sealed container for weeks at a time.
