Ingredients
- 2 c. shelled purple hull peas
- 1 c. fresh corn, cut from cob
- 1/3 c. chopped onion
- 1/3 c. chopped celery
- 1 beef flavored bouillon cube
- 1/4 tsp. dried whole savory
- 1/4 tsp. ground pepper
- 2 c. water
- celery leaves (optional)
Method
- Combine the first 8 ingredients in a medium saucepan.
- Bring to a boil.
- Cover, reduce heat and cook 30 to 35 minutes or until peas are tender.
