Ingredients
- 1/2 cup rolled oats
- 2/3 cup water
- 1 egg
- 1 cup buttermilk
- 1/4 cup butter, melted
- 1/2 cup whole wheat flour
- 1/2 cup white flour
- 1 tsp. sugar
- 1 tsp. soda
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
- 1 pear, finely chopped
Method
- Combine oats and water; let stand for 10 minutes.
- Combine dry ingredients.
- Combine milk, butter, and egg.
- Combine all ingredients together, mixing just until moistened.
- Fold in pears.
- Fry, serve, and enjoy.
