Ingredients
- 6 eggs
- 1 1/2 c. sugar
- 4 Tbsp. water
- 1 1/2 c. sifted flour
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- pinch of salt
- salted peanuts (approximately 1 lb.)
Method
- Beat egg yolks; add 3/4 cup sugar and salt; beat 5 minutes, then add water.
- In separate bowl, beat egg whites until stiff and add remaining 3/4 cup sugar.
- Stir with egg yolk mixture and fold in flour and baking powder.
- Bake in 350° oven in 9 x 13-inch pan for 25 to 30 minutes.
