Ingredients

  • 1 stick butter (soften)
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup peanut butter
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup rolled oats
  • 2 cup chocolate chips
  • 8 oz cream cheese (soften)
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 2 egg
  • 1 cup white sugar

Method

  • preheat oven to 325.
  • Cream butter, 1/2 cup white sugar, brown sugar and peanut butter.
  • Add 1egg and beat well.
  • In a separate bowl mix flour, baking soda and salt.
  • Gradually add flour mixture to sugar mixture.
  • Mix well
  • Stir in oats and chocolate.
  • Press half of the prepared cookie dough in a greased 9-inch square baking dish.
  • Now to make the cheesecake layer; Cream the cheese, 1egg, remaining white sugar and vanilla until smooth.
  • Pour over pressed cookie dough.
  • Crumble the remaining cookie dough and sprinkle over cheese layer.
  • Cover with foil and bake for 20 min
  • Remove foil and bake for another 20 minutes or until cheesecake layer has set.
  • This can be served warm but, it tastes amazing if you refrigerate and serve cold.
  • The flavors blend well and a more explosive when chilled
