Ingredients
- 2 c. sugar
- 1 c. light corn syrup
- 1/4 c. water
- 2 c. raw peanuts
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. vinegar
Method
- Combine sugar, corn syrup and water. Cook to soft ball stage. Add peanuts and cook until mixture turns dark (300°).
- Remove from heat and add soda, salt and vinegar.
- Stir well and pour into a buttered cookie sheet. Cool.
- Break into pieces.
- Yields 2 pounds.
