Ingredients
- 1 c. sugar
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 1 1/2 c. flour
- 6 Tbsp. cocoa
- 1 Tbsp. lemon juice
- 6 Tbsp. oil
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 c. cold water
Method
- Preheat oven to 350°.
- In an ungreased 8 x 8-inch pan, combine the first five ingredients and mix well.
- Make three holes in the mixture.
- Pour the lemon juice in one hole, the oil in the second and vanilla in the third.
- Pour the cold water over the top and mix well.
- Bake 30 minutes or until knife inserted in center of cake comes out clean.
- Cool cake and dust with confectioners sugar.
