Ingredients
- 2 c. white sugar
- 1 c. white corn syrup or ribbon cane syrup
- 1/4 c. water
- 2 c. raw peanuts
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. vinegar
Method
- Combine sugar, syrup and water and cook to the soft ball stage.
- Add peanuts and cook until mixture turns dark.
- Remove from heat; add baking soda, salt and vinegar.
- Stir well and pour onto buttered cookie sheet.
- Cool and break into pieces.
