Ingredients

  • 3 c. canned peaches
  • 1 c. all-purpose flour
  • 1/3 c. butter or margarine
  • 1/2 c. sugar

Method

  • Preheat oven to 400°.
  • Grease baking dish.
  • Mix flour and sugar together.
  • Add the butter or margarine.
  • Mix together with a fork or pastry blender until mixture looks crumbly.
  • Open the peaches; drain off all the liquid.
  • Spread drained fruit evenly in greased baking dish.
  • Sprinkle the crumb mixture evenly on top of the fruit.
  • Bake for about 30 to 40 minutes.
  • The topping should be golden brown.
  • Serve warm.
