Ingredients

  • 2 lb. Russet potatoes
  • 1/2 c. fine dry bread crumbs
  • 1/2 c. grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/8 tsp. garlic powder
  • 1/8 tsp. pepper
  • 1/2 c. (1 stick) butter or margarine, melted

Method

  • Peel potatoes and cut lengthwise into quarters.
  • Cut each quarter into three strips.
  • In shallow bowl, combine bread crumbs, Parmesan cheese, salt, garlic powder and pepper.
  • Roll potato strips in melted butter, then in bread crumb mixture.
  • Place in single layer in shallow baking dish.
  • Pour any remaining butter over potatoes.
  • Bake at 400° for 30 to 35 minutes or until potatoes are tender when pierced with a fork.
  • Makes 6 servings.
