Ingredients
- 2 lb. Russet potatoes
- 1/2 c. fine dry bread crumbs
- 1/2 c. grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/8 tsp. garlic powder
- 1/8 tsp. pepper
- 1/2 c. (1 stick) butter or margarine, melted
Method
- Peel potatoes and cut lengthwise into quarters.
- Cut each quarter into three strips.
- In shallow bowl, combine bread crumbs, Parmesan cheese, salt, garlic powder and pepper.
- Roll potato strips in melted butter, then in bread crumb mixture.
- Place in single layer in shallow baking dish.
- Pour any remaining butter over potatoes.
- Bake at 400° for 30 to 35 minutes or until potatoes are tender when pierced with a fork.
- Makes 6 servings.
