Ingredients

  • 1/4 c. all-purpose flour
  • 1 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. paprika
  • 1 (3 lb.) broiler fryer, cut up
  • 4 Tbsp. butter or margarine (1/2 stick)

Method

  • Mix flour, salt and paprika.
  • Coat chicken pieces with flour mixture.
  • In baking dish 13 x 9-inches in 425° oven, melt butter or margarine.
  • Remove baking dish from oven.
  • Arrange chicken pieces, skin-side down, in single layer in butter or margarine in baking dish.
  • Bake 25 minutes.
  • Turn chicken pieces over; bake 15 minutes longer or until chicken is golden and fork-tender.
  • Makes 4 servings.
