Ingredients
- 2 1/2 lb. American cheese
- 2 small cans (2 lb.) whole tomatoes
- 1 Tbsp. garlic powder
- 1 Tbsp. cumin
- 1/2 Tbsp. black pepper
- 1 or 2 jalapeno peppers, remove seeds
Method
- Blend cans of tomatoes (juice too).
- Put in Dutch oven.
- Add garlic powder, cumin and pepper.
- Dice the jalapeno finely.
- Add to mixture.
- Bring to a boil.
- Add the cheese (grated) until melted.
- Remove from heat and cool.
- Mixture will be thick and lumpy.
- Add 1 cup of water and blend.
- May freeze.
- Makes a lot!
