Ingredients

  • 1 medium head lettuce
  • 1 c. green pepper, chopped
  • 1 c. celery, chopped
  • 1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen green peas
  • 1 c. mayonnaise
  • 2 tsp. granulated sugar
  • 2 boiled eggs
  • 4 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 1 c. grated cheese

Method

  • Layer all ingredients.
  • Do not stir.
  • Save some bacon and cheese for topping.
  • Combine mayonnaise and sugar and pour on top of layered salad.
  • Garnish with bacon and cheese.
  • Refrigerate overnight, covered with Saran Wrap.
  • When ready to serve, mix lightly.
