Ingredients
- 6 c. Rice Chex
- 6 c. Corn Chex
- 6 c. Crispix
- 1 c. butter
- 1 c. packed brown sugar
- 1 tsp. vanilla extract
- 1/2 c. corn syrup
Method
- Grease 3 (15 x 10 x 1-inch) baking pans.
- Set aside.
- In large heatproof bowl, combine cereal and set aside.
- In heavy saucepan over medium heat, bring butter, brown sugar and corn syrup to boil, stirring frequently.
- Reduce heat, simmer uncovered for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Remove from heat and add vanilla.
- Pour over cereal and stir until well coated.
- Transfer to pans and spread out to thin layer.
- Bake uncovered at 200° for 1 hour, stirring every 15 minutes.
- Cool completely.
- Break apart and store in airtight containers.
