Ingredients
- 1 c. butter
- 2 c. sugar
- 1 tsp. soda
- 1/2 c. buttermilk
- 3 1/2 c. sifted flour
- 1 lb. orange slices
- 2 c. pecans
- 1 c. Angel Flake coconut
- 1 to 2 tsp. grated orange rind
Method
- Chop nuts, fruits and orange slices.
- Cream butter and sugar well.
- Beat in eggs one at a time.
- Dissolve soda in buttermilk. Add to creamed mixture.
- Mix flour and chopped ingredients.
- Add to batter.
- Mix with hands.
- Pour into a greased and floured tube pan.
- Bake in 250° oven for 2 or 3 hours.
