Ingredients
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 2 tsp. salt
- 1 pkg. yeast
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1/2 c. butter
- 1 c. hot water
- 1 c. warm water
- 5 c. flour
Method
- Dissolve yeast in warm water.
- Cream butter and add sugar and salt.
- Pour hot water over mixture and stir.
- When dissolved, add egg and yeast mixture.
- Add flour 1 cup at a time.
- Place in refrigerator at least 8 hours before using.
- Lightly knead and shape into rolls; allow to rise about 45 minutes.
- Bake in a 450° oven for 15 minutes or until golden brown.
