Ingredients
- 1/2 c. oleo
- 1/2 c. shortening
- 1 c. granulated sugar
- 1 c. brown sugar
- 2 beaten eggs
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 1/2 c. flour
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. soda
- 3 c. quick cooking oats
- 1/2 c. chopped nuts
- 3/4 c. coconut
Method
- Cream shortening, oleo and sugars.
- Add beaten eggs; beat well.
- Add vanilla, then add flour, salt and soda.
- At the last, mix in the oats, nuts and coconut by hand.
- Grease cookie sheet. Drop by spoonful and mash down with fork.
- You can also make a roll and wrap in wax paper and refrigerate overnight.
