Ingredients
- 3 Tbsp. butter
- 2 Tbsp. all-purpose flour
- 1 c. light cream
- 1 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
- 1 Tbsp. prepared horseradish
- 1 c. cooked peas (can)
- 2 c. diced, cooked ham
- 1 1/2 c. cooked noodles
- 1/4 c. dry bread crumbs
Method
- Melt 2 tablespoons butter in saucepan. Blend flour into melted butter to form paste. Add cream, stirring constantly, until smooth, thick sauce forms.
- Add cheese.
- Stir sauce until cheese melts.
- Add horseradish, peas, ham and noodles. Blend well.
- Pour mixture into greased 1-quart casserole dish.
- Top with bread crumbs.
- Dot with 1 tablespoon butter.
- Bake at 350° for 30 minutes or until thoroughly heated.
