Ingredients

  • 1 small pkg. yeast
  • 1/2 c. lukewarm water
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1/2 c. oleo
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 5 c. plain flour
  • 3 eggs, slightly beaten
  • 1 c. lukewarm milk (that has been heated)
  • butter

Method

  • Dissolve yeast in 1/2 cup warm water.
  • Mix with remaining ingredients to make a soft dough.
  • Let rise until double in bulk. Refrigerate overnight.
  • Roll on floured board; cut into rolls. Fold over a thin slice of butter.
  • Let rise overnight.
  • Bake at 350° until slightly brown.
