Ingredients
- PIE
- 1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese
- 14 ounces sweetened condensed milk
- 1/3 cup lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 cracker pie crust
- CHERRY GLAZE
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 2 tablespoons cornstarch
- 1/2 cup cherry juice
- 1 cup cherries, red tart cherries, pitted, drained
Method
- PIE:
- Mix cream cheese, condensed milk, lemon juice and vanilla.
- Pour into pie crust.
- CHERRY GLAZE:
- Blend sugar and cornstarch, stir in cherry juice.
- Cook until thickened and clear, stirring constantly.
- Stir in a few drops of red food coloring if desired.
- Add cherries.
- Completely cool and top the pie.
