Ingredients
- 1 c. sugar
- 2 sticks butter or oleo (I use a little less)
- 1 egg
- 1/2 lb. dates, chopped fine
- 2 c. nuts, chopped
- 2 c. Rice Krispies
Method
- Place first 4 ingredients in heavy saucepan or skillet on top of stove; stir until it starts to boil and then cook 6 minutes until thickened.
- Remove from heat and add the nuts and Krispies. Form into balls (small) and roll in flaked coconut.
- Makes about 50.
