Ingredients

  • 1 frozen ready puff pastry sheet
  • 8 oz. soft cream cheese
  • 1/4 c. powdered sugar
  • 1/4 tsp. almond extract
  • 1 c. whipping cream, whipped
  • 1/2 c. powdered sugar
  • 1 Tbsp. milk
  • 1 oz. Baker's semi-sweet chocolate, melted

Method

  • Thaw pastry per directions.
  • Preheat oven to 400°.
  • On floured surface, roll to 15 x 12-inches; cut lengthwise in thirds.
  • Place on ungreased cookie sheet.
  • Prick with fork.
  • Bake 8 to 10 minutes.
  • Stir together cheese, 1/4 cup sugar and extract.
  • Fold in whipped cream.
  • Spread 2 pastry sheets with cheese.
  • Stack. Top with remaining pastry.
  • Stir 1/2 cup sugar and milk in small bowl until smooth.
  • Spread over top.
  • Drizzle with chocolate. Chill.
