- 1 gal. chopped ripe tomatoes
- 1 gal. chopped cabbage
- 1/2 doz. bell peppers (red), chopped
- 1 qt. chopped onions
- 1/2 doz. red peppers (hot), chopped
- 1 c. salt
- 2 qt. vinegar
- 6 c. sugar
- 2 tsp. ground mustard
- 2 tsp. ginger
- 1 Tbsp. cinnamon
- 2 tsp. turmeric
- 1 Tbsp. celery seed
- 1 Tbsp. ground cloves
Method
- Add salt to chopped vegetables.
- Mix and let drain 2 hours. Boil remaining ingredients.
- Add chopped ingredients.
- Cook until thick.
- Put in sterile jars and seal.
