Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 lb. hamburger
  • 1/3 c. chopped celery
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 large pkg. nacho chips
  • taco sauce
  • 1/3 c. chopped onion
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 can kidney beans
  • 2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese

Method

  • Brown hamburger, onion and celery in a skillet.
  • Add salt, soup and kidney beans to meat mixture and cook for 8 minutes at medium heat.
  • Line a 13 x 9-inch pan with nacho chips.
  • Pour meat mixture on top.
  • Cover mixture with remaining chips; sprinkle grated cheese on top.
  • Bake at 425° for 8 to 10 minutes.
  • Let stand 5 minutes. Serve with taco sauce and optional toppings of sour cream, olives and guacamole.
