Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 lb. fresh mushrooms
  • 1/4 lb. butter
  • 1 small onion
  • 1 large handful fresh parsley
  • salt to taste

Method

  • Coarsely chop mushrooms in a food processor.
  • Remove and set aside.
  • Coarsely chop onion.
  • Remove and set aside.
  • Finely chop the parsley.
  • Melt butter over low heat in a frying pan.
  • Add reserved ingredients.
  • Cook slowly.
  • If it is too thick, add a little sour cream.
  • Serve on cocktail rye or crackers.
