Ingredients

  • 1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen chopped spinach
  • 1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, cut in cubes
  • 3 Tbsp. milk
  • 2 Tbsp. margarine
  • 1/8 tsp. ground nutmeg
  • 8 to 10 slices bacon, cooked crisp, drained and crumbled
  • 1 Tbsp. lemon juice

Method

  • Cook spinach per package directions.
  • Drain well.
  • In saucepan over low heat, mix together cheese, milk, margarine and nutmeg. Cook until cheese is melted.
  • Remove from heat and stir in the spinach, half of the bacon and the lemon juice.
  • Turn mixture into serving dish and sprinkle with remaining bacon.
