Ingredients
- 1 c. cornmeal
- 1 c. cold water
- 1 tsp. salt
- 3 c. water
Method
- Stir cornmeal into 1 cup of cold water; set aside.
- Bring 3 cups of water and salt to a boil in large saucepan.
- Add cornmeal mixture to boiling water gradually, stirring constantly.
- Cook for 5 to 10 minutes or until thickened, stirring frequently.
- Serve with sugar or milk or chill in pan; slice and fry.
