Ingredients

  • 1 c. butter (2 sticks)
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1 c. brown sugar
  • 1 tsp. baking powder
  • 1 tsp. baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 3 c. flour
  • 1 bag chocolate chips (2 c.)

Method

  • Preheat oven to 375°. Blend butter, eggs, sugar and brown sugar. Add baking powder, baking soda, vanilla and salt to mixture. Blend gently. Add flour one cup at a time and gently blend before adding the next cup. Add chocolate chips. Use spoon to form dough balls and place onto ungreased cookie sheet. Bake for 7 minutes and allow to cool. Makes about 48 cookies.
