Ingredients
- 1 gallon green tomatoes
- 1 quart bell peppers
- 1 1/4 cups sugar
- 1 quart onion
- 1/2 cup salt
- 1 quart vinegar (apple cider)
- garlic
Method
- Cut up tomatoes, pepper and onion.
- Put into pan.
- Pour 1/2 cup salt and garlic in pan.
- Cover in water and stir.
- Soak 30 minutes.
- Mix vinegar and sugar.
- Bring to a boil.
- Then drain and wash tomato mixture to get salt off.
- Put mixture into vinegar and sugar and simmer about 10 or 15 minutes.
- Seal.
