Ingredients
- 1 or 2 medium onions, chopped
- 1 green pepper (optional)
- 1 c. celery (optional)
- 1 1/2 lb. ground beef
- 1 can red kidney beans
- 2 or 3 c. tomato juice (can use tomatoes)
- 2 c. macaroni, cooked and drained
Method
- In a frying pan, saute in butter or oleo the onions, pepper and celery.
- Add meat; cook until done and drain off fat.
- Add beans, tomato juice, macaroni, salt and pepper to taste.
- Serve hot as is or over corn bread.
