Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon extra-virgin olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon red wine vinegar
  • Grated zest and juice of 1 lime
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • Dash of hot pepper sauce, such as Tabasco
  • 3 avocados, pitted, peeled, and diced
  • 4 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 1 large tomato, peeled, seeded, and diced
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped red onion

Method

  • Whisk together the oil, vinegar, lime zest and juice, salt, red pepper flakes, and hot sauce.
  • Put the avocados into a medium bowl, pour the dressing over them, and toss to combine.
  • Stir in the bacon, tomato, and onion.
