- 1 1/2 lb. ground chuck
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 3 (8 oz.) cans tomato sauce
- 1/2 tsp. pepper
- 1/2 tsp. oregano leaves
- 1/4 pkg. lasagne noodles
- 2 c. Mozzarella or Swiss cheese
- 2 c. cottage cheese
- 1/3 c. Parmesan cheese
Method
- In a medium skillet, cook and stir ground chuck and garlic until meat is brown.
- Drain; add tomato sauce, salt, pepper and oregano.
- Cover and simmer 20 minutes.
- Cook noodles as directed on package and drain.
- In an ungreased baking dish, 11 1/2 x 7 1/2-inch, alternate layers of meat sauce, noodles, cheese and cottage cheese, beginning and ending with sauce.
- Bake uncovered 20 to 30 minutes.
- Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
