Ingredients
- 2 cups molasses
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 tablespoon white vinegar
- 1 tablespoon butter
Method
- Combine all ingredients in a large iron skillet.
- Bring mixture to a boil.
- Continue cooking and stirring occasionally with a wooden spoon until mixture reaches 310 degrees F on candy thermometer.
- Pour into greased cake pan and refrigerate.
- When hard break into pieces.
