- 1 (8 oz.) pkg. elbow macaroni
- 1 (10 3/4 oz.) can cream of mushroom soup
- 1/2 c. milk
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 1 (4 oz.) can mushrooms, sliced
- 1 lb. sharp cheese, shredded (reserve 1/2 c.)
- 1 c. mayonnaise
- 1/2 c. bell pepper, chopped
- 1 (4 oz.) jar pimento, chopped
- crushed Cheez-Its crackers
Method
- Cook macaroni according to package directions.
- Mix all other ingredients while macaroni is cooking.
- When macaroni is tender, drain and mix with other ingredients.
- Pour into large casserole dish.
- Cover and cook at 350° for 45 minutes.
- Remove from oven; sprinkle with remaining cheese and cracker crumbs.
