Ingredients

  • 1 (8 oz.) pkg. elbow macaroni
  • 1 (10 3/4 oz.) can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1/2 c. milk
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 1 (4 oz.) can mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 lb. sharp cheese, shredded (reserve 1/2 c.)
  • 1 c. mayonnaise
  • 1/2 c. bell pepper, chopped
  • 1 (4 oz.) jar pimento, chopped
  • crushed Cheez-Its crackers

Method

  • Cook macaroni according to package directions.
  • Mix all other ingredients while macaroni is cooking.
  • When macaroni is tender, drain and mix with other ingredients.
  • Pour into large casserole dish.
  • Cover and cook at 350° for 45 minutes.
  • Remove from oven; sprinkle with remaining cheese and cracker crumbs.
