Ingredients
- 1/2 c. butter or margarine, softened
- 1/2 c. granulated sugar
- 1/2 c. powdered sugar
- 1 egg
- 1/2 c. Wesson oil
- 1/2 tsp. cream of tartar
- 1/2 tsp. baking soda
- 2 c. flour
Method
- Cream margarine and sugar until fluffy.
- Add the other ingredients in order listed.
- Stir until well blended.
- Drop by teaspoonfuls onto greased cookie sheet.
- Dip the bottom of a glass in granulated sugar and press cookies slightly.
- Bake at 350° for 7 minutes (do not overbake).
- Cool on wire racks.
