Ingredients

  • 1 (3 oz.) pkg. lemon flavor gelatin
  • 1 c. boiling water
  • 1/2 c. cold water
  • 1/2 c. mayonnaise
  • 2 Tbsp. vinegar
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1 c. shredded cabbage
  • 1/2 c. sliced radishes
  • 1/4 c. chopped celery
  • 1/4 c. finely chopped green pepper
  • 1/4 c. minced onion
  • 1/4 c. finely chopped cucumber

Method

  • Dissolve gelatin in boiling water.
  • Stir in cold water. Combine mayonnaise, vinegar and salt.
  • Gradually stir some of gelatin into mayonnaise blending well.
  • Stir mayonnaise mixture into remaining gelatin stirring well.
  • Chill until thick and syrupy.
  • Fold in cabbage, radishes, celery, green pepper, onion and cucumber.
  • Pour into lightly oiled 4-cup mold.
  • Chill until set.
  • Makes 6 to 8 servings.
