Ingredients
- 2 sticks margarine
- 1/2 c. cocoa
- 2 c. sugar
- 4 eggs, slightly beaten
- dash of salt
- 1 1/2 c. walnuts
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 1/2 c. sifted self-rising flour
Method
- Melt butter and cocoa.
- Remove from heat.
- Cool.
- Stir in sugar and beaten eggs.
- Mix well.
- Add flour, salt, chopped nuts and vanilla.
- Spoon the batter into a 13 x 9-inch pan.
- Bake at 350° for 40 minutes.
- Sprinkle miniature marshmallows on warm cake. Turn oven off and put cake in oven until marshmallows melt.
