Ingredients

  • 12 whole Mini-Tart Shells
  • 3 whole Apples
  • 1/4 cups Corn Syrup
  • 1 teaspoon Lime Juice
  • 2 Tablespoons Cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon Apple Pie Spice (or A Dash Of Nutmeg And Brown Sugar)

Method

  • Preheat oven to 350F.
  • Place tart shells on a baking sheet.
  • Core apples and dice into small pieces.
  • Mix together in a large bowl the apples, corn syrup and lime juice.
  • Sprinkle with cinnamon and a dash of nutmeg and brown sugar.
  • Spoon into tart shells until just full.
  • Bake for about 15 minutes, until tart shells are lightly browned and the filling looks caramelized.
  • Serve warm with a scoop of ice cream.
