Ingredients
- 3 c. sugar
- 1 lb. butter, melted
- 6 eggs (at room temperature)
- 4 c. all-purpose flour
- 3/4 c. milk
- 1 tsp. almond flavoring
- 1 tsp. vanilla flavoring
Method
- Combine sugar and butter.
- Cream until light and fluffy.
- Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.
- Add flour to creamed mixture, alternating with milk, beating well after each addition.
- Stir in flavorings.
- Pour batter into a well-greased and floured 10-inch tube pan.
- Bake at 300° for 1 hour and 40 minutes or until cake tests done.
