Ingredients
- 1 head cauliflower
- 1 bunch broccoli (1 1/4 lb.), cut into spears
- 3 to 4 carrots, sliced diagonally 1/4-inch thick
- 1/2 c. butter or margarine, melted
- 1/2 tsp. garlic salt
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
Method
- In a 15-inch round glass or ceramic dish, place head of cauliflower in center.
- Arrange broccoli and carrots around outside.
- Pour butter or margarine over vegetables.
- Sprinkle with salt and pepper.
- Cover with plastic wrap, turning back 1 edge to vent.
- Microwave on High power for 17 to 19 minutes.
- Let stand, covered, 5 minutes.
- Vegetables should be crisp, but tender.
