Ingredients
- 3/4 c. sugar
- 1/3 c. flour
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 2 c. milk
- 2 eggs
- 1 Tbsp. butter
- 1/2 c. semi-sweet chocolate pieces
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 baked and cooled 9-inch pie shell
Method
- In pan, mix sugar, flour and salt.
- Add 1 cup milk and mix smooth.
- Bring to boil, stirring continually, until smooth. Remove from heat.
- With fork, beat eggs with remaining cup of milk.
- Gradually stir into hot mixture.
- Put back on heat and bring to boil until thickened a bit more.
- Remove from heat; stir in butter, chocolate pieces and vanilla.
- Stir until chocolate melts.
- Pour in shell and chill.
