Ingredients

  • 1/2 c. butter
  • 1/4 c. corn syrup
  • 1 c. brown sugar
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. soda
  • 4 to 6 qt. popped corn

Method

  • Combine butter, syrup, sugar and salt in an 8 cup glass measuring cup or bowl.
  • Bring to a boil in microwave and then cook 2 1/2 minutes.
  • Stir in baking soda.
  • Put corn in large brown grocery bag that has been sprayed with Pam.
  • Pour syrup over corn and stir lightly to combine.
  • Put the bag in the microwave; cook 2 1/2 minutes, stirring after 1 minute.
  • Remove from microwave and spread on a cookie sheet to cool.
