- 3 or 4 lb. country style ribs
- 3/4 c. brown sugar
- juice of 1 lemon
- 1/2 c. regular barbecue sauce
- salt, pepper and garlic salt
- 1 medium chopped onion
- 1 small can chunk or crushed pineapple (undrained)
- 1/2 c. hickory smoked barbecue sauce
Method
- Fry ribs until browned and well done.
- Mix all other ingredients and pour over cooked ribs into a large, heavy pan. Simmer several hours.
- Stir occasionally.
- More barbecue sauce may be added according to taste.
- Serve over steamed rice.
