Ingredients

  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 3 Tbsp. margarine
  • 1 pouch Lipton soup mix (7 vegetable recipe)
  • 2 c. lite cream or milk
  • 1/4 c. chopped fresh basil or 1 Tbsp. dried basil
  • 1/4 c. fresh parsley or 1 Tbsp. dried parsley
  • 1/4 c. grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 lb. fresh or frozen tortellini, cooked a la dente

Method

  • In skillet, saute garlic in margarine until tender.
  • Stir in soup mix (dry) and cream.
  • Heat to boiling.
  • Simmer uncovered 10 minutes.
  • Stir in basil, parsley, cheese and cooked tortellini. Heat through.
